$100,000 Trial Settlement at Hudson County, NJ Superior Court

November 2019 - During this week’s trial at Hudson County N.J. Superior Court before Hon. Judge Vincent J. Militello, J.S.C. Law Offices of Roosevelt Jean, LLC recovered $100,000 (100% of defendant’s insurance policy) for the victim of a violent car collision who suffers from permanent debilitating cervical & lumbar herniated discs, shoulder SLAP & labrum tears, and torn knee meniscus.

After Roosevelt’s successful cross-examination of the defendant’s Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon - he exposed the full extent of the client’s pain, suffering, and loss of enjoyment of life - which caused the defense to acknowledge the benefits of a prompt resolution.

Another key to victory was the successful pre-trial Motion, citing Johnson v. Scaccetti, 192 N.J. 256 (2007), holding if a jury finds a “permanent injury” regarding 1 body part, they shall award damages for all other bodily injuries “proximately caused" by the defendant.
